Louise O’Sullivan Counselling and Mediation in Sydney CBD and Newtown

Louise O’Sullivan brings over thirty five years of counselling experience working with individuals, couples, families, children and adolescents. Louise holds a Masters of Social Work; a Graduate Diploma in Couple and Family Therapy and a Bachelor of Social Work.

She is also an accredited Family Dispute Resolution Practitioner (FDRP), registered by the Attorney-General’s Department, specialising in post separation parenting matters. She is registered to issue 60I Certificates as required.

Louise is also a registered Parenting Coordinator and an expert report writer for children and families involved in Family Court proceedings.

Louise has extensive experience working with children and adolescents individually and within family therapy with a range of presenting concerns.

Louise also works with individual adults and couples to assist with a range of issues. Louise works with couples at all stages of their relationship—whether navigating conflict, rebuilding connection, or managing separation. Her approach supports open communication, emotional understanding and practical strategies for change.

Individual counselling services are provided with Medicare rebates.

Appointments are available on weekdays and after hours where necessary.

You do not need to obtain a referral to attend an appointment, however you may wish to obtain a GP Mental Health Care Plan. Please discuss this option when you are making your initial appointment.
